Business

Knowing that I wanted to own my own business, I left the corporate world to start my own health insurance agency in 1998.

I knew I wanted to run a company that had had a lot of personal contact, where I could educate others as well. By starting PA Health Supermarket, I put myself in a business where I could start small and offer a more personalized service.

We started with health insurance and our goal was to grow our business while continuing to offer the same or better service than we had done in the past. We grew by adding other health insurance related items (life, insurance, disability, long term care, critical care, travel insurance, dental and vision.) By staying true to our core business values, we have been able to grow while retaining the personalized service we are known for.

Our name reflects our heritage when it comes to health and the related insurance; we are a supermarket, hence the name PA Health Insurance Supermarket.

Personal Life

My wife and I have been blessed with two children, both of which are now out on their own. Our son is a professor and our daughter works in the retail industry. We recently made an addition to our family in the form of a Bichon rescue dog. In my spare time I enjoy running, lifting weights, hiking and golfing.
